FX and I recently had a closer look at Cisco’s Nexus 1000V. It’s a “virtual switch” running on top of VMWare ESX (this cloud type of think, you know?). Ever wanted to know what happens when you replace a router’s backplane by an Ethernet channel? Then you should have a look at the slides below. ;)
